The Business of Bidding

We’re working with a new client of late that’s doing some pretty cool stuff. It’s the Auction Network. It’s online now at www.auctionnetwork.com, but soon will be a cable network. All state of the art high-def equipment. In early February, in partnership with the Grammys and Julien’s Auctions, they’ll carry a Grammy artist auction and instead of it being just for a black-tie audience in L.A. the whole world can bid. Cool stuff, too….a guitar owned and played by Elvis, another played and signed by Slash. A saxophone from Bill Clinton. A Britney Spears book report. Handwritten lyrics from Alison Krauss. And lots more. All the money all goes to MusicCares, a very good cause. Check them out. I want to bid on the John Lennon shopping list…but then I’d want to bid on a John Lennon anything.
