An article in USA Today examined the 25 Things phenomenon on Facebook last month. {See Mike’s post about this topic…Ackermann PR even caught the 25 Things fever!} An article in Time ran the headline, “Facebook Is for Old People”. Just in the last 20 hours, Fox News posted a story online about Facebook and how authorities say it helped them find a group of terrorists. For the most part, news coverage of the social network has been positive. Everyone is obsessed! (I am among them!)
This blog post by Peter Shankman, however, bucks the trend. And no, he’s not writing about the recent changes to the homepage. The post is entitled, “Five ways Facebook can win the war of relevance.” I know I sure wouldn’t want to be on the losing side…
