At our staff meeting this morning, we celebrated my executive assistant’s (and good personal friend’s) 25th anniversary with Ackermann PR. We talk about the importance — and rarity — of employee longevity these days, and I feel so blessed to have had Sue Balder working with me for a quarter of a century now.
She epitomizes professionalism, a caring attitude and a great work ethic. There are times when I go to business meetings, and the first thing that the client or business associate does is ask me “how Sue is”. She has a fan club both here in Knoxville and in Dallas (where we have another office) of people who appreciate and respect her, even though many of them have never met her in person.
When I look back at my career here at Ackermann PR, I count my long-standing relationship with Sue as a high point. She has always been here for me, and I want to just publicly congratulate her on the fabulous job she has done and I’m sure will continue doing. She’s indeed a special person in my life.
