The author of Socialnomics, Eric Qualman, produced the video in support of his book release a few months ago.
In the first chapter, Qualman writes about the new “world of mouth” and how people have always wanted to know what other people are saying/thinking/doing. Social media is the vehicle through which that information is transmitted now, and Qualman writes about why companies should care.
Maybe Socialnomics will have to be some late summer reading around here.
